More than 50,500 buildings could be demolished in Turkiye

According to Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of Turkey, more than 50,500 buildings have been identified in the quake zone that need to be demolished immediately.
It should be reminded that the earthquakes with magnitudes 7.4 and 7.8 hit Kahramanmaras region of Turkey on 6 February. The earthquakes were felt in 10 regions of the country and neighbouring Syria.
As a result of the elements 1400 people were killed in Syria and more than 35 thousand people in Turkiye.
