Net profit of Uzbek banks exceeded 8 trillion UZS

The Central Bank presented data on the income of banks of Uzbekistan for ten months of this year. In October, interest income of banks amounted to 52.5 trillion UZS, having increased by almost 1.4 times compared to the same period of last year.

Also, non-interest income of banks grew 1.9 times comparing to ten months of last year and made up 27.3 trillion UZS.

The interest margin indicator grew significantly as well - it reached nearly 20 trillion UZS and grew by 12.4% comparing to nine months of 2011.

Banks allocated 2.4 trillion UZS for income tax payment and net income increased 1.1 times comparing with previous month and made up 8.1 trillion UZS.
