New opportunities to increase Andijan’s industrial potential

On May 6, a working group headed by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade S. Umurzakov left for Andijan region to scrutinize the current state of economic and industrial development.

During the visit, the current state of infrastructure, local industrial enterprises and their products were studied.

Practical aspects of the production process, prospects for expanding the activities of enterprises through increasing production volumes and the development of new types of products were canvassed with entrepreneurs and exporters.

The direct dialogue provided an opportunity to study the current state of the enterprises, the technological process and the problems that arise. The problems were thoroughly assayed, and concrete solutions were developed, as well as deadlines for their implementation and responsible executors were identified.

Entrepreneurs and exporters shared with the members of the working group plans to further expand and modernize enterprises, to develop new types of products that are in demand and with high added value in domestic and foreign markets.
