New speed limits approved in Tashkent

At the 71st session of Tashkent City Kengash of People's Deputies the decision was made to limit speed of automobiles to 60 km/h in the streets within Small Ring Road, and to 50 km/h in central streets.

Specifically, the speed of vehicles will be limited to 60 km/h on the streets within the Small Ring Road.

In addition, speeds of up to 50 km/h will be restricted on the following streets:
- Alisher Navoiy;
- Makhtumkuli;
- Amir Temur;
- Small ring road;
- Islam Karimov;
- Taras Shevchenko;
- Babur;
- Furkat;
- roundabout on Amir Timur Avenue.

It is noted that speed reductions on other streets in Tashkent will be considered in the future.
