Next criticism: the plans were not well thought out!

The head of state criticized the plans of the cities of Navoi, Bukhara, Namangan, Kokand, Ahangaran and Chirchik, Zafarabad, Arnasay, Wobkent, Shafirkan, Kagan, Gijduvan, Romitan regions to employment and reduce poverty, which had not been carefully thought through, not taking into account all available opportunities and reserves.

At the same time, it was noted that there has been no change in Navoi, Surkhandarya and Ferghana, while poverty rates have improved across the country.

The President noted that the most important mechanism for reducing poverty is providing the population with gainful employment. Therefore, as part of the administrative reform, the 5 offices responsible for poverty reduction have been transformed into a single system.

Now both the accounting of workforce and unemployment, as well as employment promotion and business development will be in one place - the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and the Ministry of Employment. In addition, experts from China, which have extensive experience in poverty reduction, are being brought in to the new ministry.

Deputy Prime Minister J. Kuchkorov, the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment was assigned to organize practical work on poverty reduction in all regions together with these experts and to revise and approve the 2023 Employment Programme on a district by district basis with the regional governors.
