Next International Tournament in Samarkand

On October 8-9, 2022, an international tournament on triathlon "Asian Triathlon Cup-2022" and Uzbekistan Championship on this sport will be held in Samarkand. On October 3, a press conference was organized in the Hilton Hotel in the capital of Uzbekistan.

The press conference was attended by Deputy Minister of Sport Development Shahrillo Mahmudov, Secretary General of National Olympic Committee Oybek Kasimov, Secretary General of Triathlon Federation Elena Kun, and media representatives.

It should be noted that on October 8 and 9, 2022 for the first time in the history of Samarkand Triathlon Federation of Uzbekistan will hold an international sport event Asian Cup - 2022 in the largest tourist centre of Asia - "Samarkand Silk Road". 70 athletes from 30 countries will take part in the event.
