Nobel Prize in Physics winners announced in Stockholm

The Nobel Prize in Physics 2022 has been awarded to Alain Aspect physicist at the University of Paris-Saclet, John Clauser physicist at JF Clauser & Associates and Anton Zeilinger Anton physicist at the University of Vienna for their research in quantum mechanics.
In 2021, the Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to Japanese-American scientist Shukuro Manabe of Princeton University and German Klaus Hasselmann of the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology for reliably predicting "the physical modelling of Earth's climate, estimating variability and global warming".
Giorgio Parisi, professor emeritus of theoretical physics at Sapienza University in Rome, also received the award for defining the interaction of disturbances and oscillations in physical systems from the atomic to the planetary scale.
