Nodirbek Abdusattarov defeated Magnus Carlsen

In the 5th round of the international tournament "Tata Steel Chess" held in Wijk aan Zee, the Netherlands, one of the central matches of the competition between the current world champion Magnus Carlsen and our compatriot Nodirbek Abdusattarov took place.

In a classical chess "duel" the debates were extremely difficult for both chess players, who were trying their hand for the first time. Nodirbek, although moving on black grains, forced the experienced Carlsen to defend.

With an advantage of one pawn on the last moves, Abdusattorov eventually achieved a convincing victory over Carlsen and became the sole leader of the international tournament.
