«NOKIA» corporation is interested in the introduction of 5G technology in Uzbekistan

Mikko Lavnti also noted that after his visit to Uzbekistan in the spring, partnership agreements were reached with major communication operators in Uzbekistan. It was especially noted that the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation is facilitated by profound transformations under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the purposefulness of efforts to introduce modern software products, information systems and communication resources in all industries. The interest of the corporation in cooperation with Uzbekistan on the introduction of 5G technologies in the republic was confirmed.


Kadambay Sultanov also noted the importance of the ongoing reforms in the field of IT and communications, including familiarized with the strategy "Digital Uzbekistan - 2030"


At the conclusion of the negotiations, the Vice President of Nokia was invited to the International High-Level Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities ”in Tashkent on July 15-16 this year, which was accepted with gratitude.
