«Of the 5 million refugees we have accepted, 3.6 million are Syrians», the President Erdoğan

Speaking at the Samarkand Summit of the Organization of Turkish States, the President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, "We are the country that has received the largest number of refugees since 2014. Of the 5 million refugees we have received, 3.6 million are Syrians."

The Turkish leader also added that it would be advisable to expand our cooperation in preventing and combating illegal migration, as well as to develop a common security concept in this context.

Furthermore, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed his hope that the organization of Turkic states would make the investment fund profitable as soon as possible.
