Officially! Bakhtiyor Saidov appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs

By the decree of the President of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Odilovich Saidov was approved as Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Earlier, the candidacy of Bakhtiyor Saidov was approved by the deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.

Prior to his appointment, the diplomat acted as acting. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Bakhtiyor Saidov is a graduate of the Tashkent State University of Economics (undergraduate and graduate), as well as the Institute of the World Trade Organization (Switzerland).

In 2009-2013, he worked as an adviser on trade and economic issues at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea. He has a diplomatic career as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

Bakhtiyor Saidov has worked in Uzbekistan in various senior positions, including the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, and Uzbekyengilsanoat. He served as the Minister of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
