Our teenagers took second place at the World Chess Olympiad

The World Chess Olympiad among chess-players under 16 has come to an end in Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan. National team of Uzbekistan-1 on the results of 9 rounds took the second place.

Our representatives took the second place with 15 points, 7 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat.

The representatives of Turkey took the first place with 18 points. Azerbaijan-1 (13 points) rounded off the top three.

The Uzbekistan-2 team, competing in the Youth Chess Olympiad, placed seventh with 11 points.
