Ruslan Nurudinov, champion of the Olympic Games in weightlifting (-109 kg), won another "gold" medal at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games.

According to the National Olympic Committee, he set a Games record in the deadlift on his first attempt, and later managed to lift a barbell weighing 187 kg. In deadlifting, Ruslan Nurudinov lifted a bar weighing 230 kilograms, and in the sum of two exercises, he recorded a result of 417 kilograms.

Thus, our weightlifter achieved a well-deserved victory in all types of the program.
