Participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the Council of Foreign Ministers of the SCO

Pakistan supports the concept of SCO cooperation on the development of transport corridors developed by Uzbekistan, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardarivo.

"Pakistan is actively working with our partners in Uzbekistan and Afghanistan on the Trans-Afghan railway project. It will open a very important route to the seaports of Central Asia to the Pakistani seaports and provide a natural freight connection with the SCO region," said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in his speech at the SCO.
