Pfizer has applied for approval of its COVID-19 vaccine for children

Pfizer's vaccine for children can begin before Thanksgiving, which is celebrated at the end of November.

On Thursday, the US company Pfizer, together with Germany's BioNTech, filed an application with the US medical regulator with the FDA to obtain emergency approval for its COVID-19 vaccine to vaccinate children aged 5-12.
