Plans to promote «Uzbekistan» tourist brand in Europe

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abduhakimov received a delegation led by President of German tourist association (DTV-Deutscher Tourismusverband) Norbert Fiebig.

The meeting focused on implementation of Destination Forum project (tourism forum for major and potential tourism organizations - members of DTV) to widely promote tourism potential of Uzbekistan in Europe and increase the flow of European tourists.

As well as to widely promote the tourism potential of Uzbekistan using the marketing resources of the association "DTV" with great experience, to demonstrate to the world that Uzbekistan is one of the safest countries in the world, establishing direct chartered flights from Germany to Samarkand, the joint promotion of the tourist brand "Uzbekistan" in Europe, attracting the largest and most effective companies that are members of DTV to our country.

As a result of the meeting between the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and DTV an agreement was reached on the development of a mutual media plan to implement all issues aimed at further strengthening and developing cooperation in tourism, as well as on the implementation of Destination Forum in April 2023.
