Pre-election polls: 49.8 per cent of those polled are ready to vote for Erdoğan

Research company Areda Survey has conducted a new survey of citizens: "Which candidate would you vote for if a presidential election were held this Sunday?" and "Which party would you vote for if a general election were held this Sunday?"

—President Erdogan leads with 49.8 percent.

"Which candidate would you vote for if a presidential election were held this Sunday?" 49.8 per cent of the 3,000 people asked expressed their confidence in Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu came second with 21.7 percent, while Mansur Yavas came third with 9.6 percent.

—The Justice and Development Party was preferred by 38.5 percent.

"If a general election were held this Sunday, which party would you vote for?" 38.5 per cent of the 3,000 people asked preferred AK Parti .

CHP is in second place with 22.8 percent, HDP in third place with 10.5 percent and İYİ Parti in fourth place with 10.4 percent.
