Preparatory processes for the Samarkand Summit of the Organization of Turkic States discussed

Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov received Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Baghdad Amreev.

During the meeting, in connection with the next summit of the Organization of Turkic States to be held in Samarkand on November 11, the preparatory processes for this political event were discussed, the sides exchanged views on the plans included in the agenda of the summit and the activities planned within its framework.

It is worth noting that the holding of the event in Samarkand is also regarded as of symbolic significance.

The fact that after renaming the Turkic Council into the Organization of Turkic States the summit of this organization will be held for the first time in Samarkand, demonstrates that Samarkand is one of the centers of Turkic world civilization.
