President left for Turkmenistan

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev left on 20 October on the invitation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for an official visit to Turkmenistan.

The forthcoming high-level talks will focus on further strengthening of relations of strategic partnership and expansion of multifaceted cooperation. More than ten documents on priority areas of cooperation are expected to be signed following the summit.

The opening of Tashkent Park in Ashgabat and the launch of the Khorezm-Dashoguz border trade zone will also be important items on the agenda of the visit.
