President of Uzbekistan will visit Kazakhstan on a practical visit

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokaev, on October 12-14, will visit Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan to participate in the regular meetings of the Council on cooperation and trust measures in Asia and the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

At the summit of the council on cooperation and trust measures in Asia, a high – level international forum, which will be held on October 13, topical issues related to security and sustainable development in the Asian region will be considered.

At the meeting of the leaders of the CIS countries, scheduled for October 14, it is planned to discuss the most important aspects of multilateral partnership and prospects for expanding practical cooperation.

Particular attention in the upcoming events will be paid to issues of increasing mutual trade and promoting projects of industrial cooperation, the formation of effective transport communications, ensuring food security and combating climate change.

In addition, within the framework of the summit, the president of Uzbekistan will hold bilateral meetings and multilateral negotiations with the heads of delegations of partner countries.
