President visits Higher Military Aviation School

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev has visited the Higher Military Aviation School.
When the head of state visited the Khanabad military airfield in Karshi district in 2018, he suggested that the airfield be used effectively to train military pilots. So the Higher Military Aviation School was relocated to Karshi city in 2019. The training buildings have been equipped with modern simulators, equipment and information technology.
This allows the cadets to conduct training on control and maintenance of combat aircraft at the Khanabad airfield, as well as to conduct flight training directly at the training ranges. The Pre-flight and Information Resource Center, as well as training laboratories for four specialties serve to improve the professionalism of military pilots.
The cadets have at their disposal a 120-seat cultural centre, a 400-seat dormitory, a kitchen, a drill ground and a sports facility. There are currently 276 cadets studying here. The President familiarized himself with the conditions at the school. During the conversation with the youth, the importance of acquiring knowledge of foreign languages and modern technologies along with the specialty was emphasized.
"The strength of every state is reflected in its defense. Defence is provided by educated, committed and steadfast military men, engineers and pilots like you. In order to be worthy of this title, you must constantly learn, work on yourselves and hone your skills comprehensively," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
The Commander-in-Chief had lunch with cadets at the school's canteen. Mirziyoyev observed sports and training sessions. A demonstration flight of military aircraft with fighters, attack aircraft, transport aircraft and combat helicopters took place in the sky over the school.
