Presidents of Supreme Courts of SCO member states to meet in Uzbekistan in 2024

XVIII Meeting of Presidents of Supreme Courts of the SCO Member States was held in New Delhi on March 10-12 under the chairmanship of the Indian side. It was announced there that the next Meeting will be held in 2024 under the chairmanship of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Reportedly, participants of the meeting discussed the issues of informatization and construction of "smart" courts, ensuring equal access to justice and its transparency, combating problems of law enforcement.

The Presidents and Judges of the Supreme Courts of the Republic of India, Republic of Kazakhstan, People's Republic of China, Kyrgyz Republic, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairmen of Supreme Courts of the observer states - Republic of Belarus and Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as representatives of the Secretariat and EC RATS SCO.

A Joint Statement was adopted at the end of the Meeting.
