Press secretary of the President held a briefing on the results of the Summit of the Turkic States

Presidential Press Secretary of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Asadov held a briefing for the media on the results of the first Summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Samarkand.

We recall that during the summit, which was attended by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkey and observers - Hungary and Turkmenistan, more than 10 important documents were signed, as well as the Strategy of the Organization of Turkic States for 2022-2026. The main document of the summit - the Samarkand Declaration - was also adopted. A number of meetings between the heads of states and official representatives were held within the framework of the productively held event.

It should also be noted that the national project "Green space" being implemented in our country under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is now being put forward as an initiative and at the level of the Organization of Turkic States.

On November 11, within the framework of the summit with the participation of heads of member states and observers of the Organization, a sapling planting event was held on Registan Square. Also in the capitals of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary and Turkmenistan a demonstration was organized on monitors of the sapling planting event.
