Prime Minister's secretariat to be set up

In accordance with the presidential decree "On measures to implement the administrative reform of the New Uzbekistan" in the executive structure of the Cabinet of Ministers will be established Secretariat of the Prime Minister, which will provide legal, organizational and technical, information and analytical and protocol activities of the Head of Government.

Also, starting from January 1, 2023 a system of direct work of the heads of executive bodies of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan (hereinafter - the Cabinet / Government) with the Prime Minister, regardless of the structure. Cabinet of Ministers.

Also, the Head of the Executive, who is part of the Government:

    is responsible and accountable for the implementation of a single state policy in the relevant area and the achievement of its development objectives;
    ensures the implementation of personnel policy in the system, independent of the Cabinet of Ministers, in accordance with the civil service law.

The executive structure of the Cabinet of Ministers abolishes the secretariats for the economy and the social sphere, the departments and subordinate departments, as well as the Inspectorate for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, the department for financial and logistical support for paramilitary units, the department for mahalla and Noorani provision.

In the Executive Office of the Cabinet of Ministers:

    Up to 4 Deputy Prime Ministers;
    The Secretariat of the Prime Minister will be established to ensure the legal, organizational, technical, information and analytical and protocol activities of the head of the Government.
