Problematic issues of entrepreneurs of Andijan region were heard

On August 4 of this year, the Working Group headed by the First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Voitov and consisting of heads of ministries, agencies and commercial banks got acquainted with the activities of a number of investment projects in Andijan region.

The purpose of the visit is to analyze the current state of socio-economic development in the area, to support entrepreneurs in solving the problems they face, to develop proposals for the use of unused resources of the region to activate investment, production and export development.

A total of 9 production facilities were inspected during the day. The working group also focused on the challenges faced by entrepreneurs. Responsible managers were given tasks to take measures to solve the reported issues and their implementation was monitored.

Also, during the visit, a meeting was held with regional producers and exporters in the large assembly hall of New Andijan. More than 100 businessmen participated in the dialogue. In a sincere and reliable dialogue, 87 problematic issues faced by entrepreneurs during their direct activities were listened to and comprehensively analyzed, algorithms for quick solution of each of them were developed. In addition, proposals to increase the investment attractiveness of the region were accepted for the development of comprehensive solutions at the republican level.
