Production in the electrotechnical industry has increased 4.5 times in the last 5 years

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is chairing meeting on prospective directions in the electro-technical industry and major tasks for the future.

The head of our state spoke about the results achieved in the sphere.
Over the past 5 years, production in the electrotechnical industry has grown 4.5 times (from 4 trillion to 17 trillion sums), exports - 5 times (from 117 million to 563 million dollars).

By the end of the year, exports are expected to exceed $750 million.
The number of exported products reached 200, and 11 enterprises in Ferghana, Samarkand, Kashkadarya and Tashkent regions entered the foreign market for the first time.

Today 205 projects worth 1 billion 200 million dollars are being implemented in the sector.

There are plans to double production of high-value-added products in the network and further increase exports.
