Projects in the field of Pharmaceuticals studied

On August 7 of this year, the Government Commission on foreign trade, investments, development and technical regulation of local industry, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan-Minister of investments and foreign trade Jamshid Khodjaev, continued its work in the Tashkent region and visited a number of large investment projects.

The main purpose of such visits is to study the current state of socio-economic development of the regions, to identify and solve the problems of entrepreneurs, to develop proposals for the use of all opportunities for the development of investment, industrial and export activities.

The company "Rossa" LLC was the first to be examined along the route of the visit, which is engaged in the development and production of biotechnological products for the fields of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and food safety. More than 5 million dollars were attracted for the implementation of the project.

Also, members of the government commission were presented with new developments of the company, including PCR test systems for the detection of HIV, hepatitis B and C, human papillomavirus, tuberculosis, herpes and other infections.

The next address visited by the commission was the site for the construction of the innovative pharmaceutical research cluster "Tashkent Pharma Park", located on 130 hectares in Zangiota district. The project is being implemented in order to stimulate the integrated development of the pharmaceutical industry in the Republic.
