Promoting Paralympic Sports: President Signs Decree on the Development of the Paralympic Movement

On May 18, 2021, the President signed a decree "On additional measures to develop the Paralympic movement." The document identifies important guidelines for creating an environment conducive to sports for people with disabilities.

In accordance with the decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of January 24, 2020 No. UP-5924 "On measures to further improve and popularize physical culture and sports in the Republic of Uzbekistan" and "On measures for the widespread introduction of a healthy lifestyle life and further development of mass sports ” of 30, 2020 No. UP-6099 , the main directions of the development of the Paralympic movement are determined. The goals and objectives of the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan created on the basis of the National Paralympic Association have also been determined.
