Proposals for a preliminary draft law on special economic zones in a new version were discussed on the basis of international experience

Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Alimkhan Rustamov held a meeting with regional coordinator of advisory program of the International Finance Corporation on creation of new markets in Central Asia Tarik Shahovich and regional specialist of the International Finance Corporation on free economic zones Craig Gize on further improvement of the system of coordination and management of special economic zones in our country.

Proposals on creation of a working group, consisting of experts of the International Finance Corporation, representatives of ministries and agencies, as well as on elaboration of a preliminary draft law on special economic zones in a new version, based on international experience were discussed during the meeting.

Candidates from the ministry, special economic zones development department and legal department were attached to this working group.
