Queen Elizabeth II's Jaguar X-Type Estate is up for auction

The Queen bought the car in 2009 and since then the car has covered around 117,000 kilometres. The auction will take place on 26 November and the starting price of the car has not been set.

The auction will take place at the Mercedes-Benz World complex in Weybridge, Surrey.

"The car has a sunroof, automatic transmission, power windows, climate control, good service history, Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate and is in good condition," the statement reads.

It is noted that Elizabeth II refused to personally drive the car at the age of 92. As of March 2019, it began to be driven by a driver. This decision was made after an accident involving her husband Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
