Rashid Meredov was awarded the Order Dustlik

As part of the visit to Ashgabat of the delegation of Uzbekistan, headed by Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Norov, a solemn ceremony was held to present the Order of "Dustlik" ("Friendship") to the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.

This order was awarded for the great personal contribution of R. Meredov to the development of strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation, strengthening the ties of centuries-old friendship and good neighborliness between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

R. Meredov expressed gratitude to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the high appreciation of his activities and the awarding of the Order "Dustlik".

The Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan stressed that he intends to continue to make every effort to develop a multifaceted and strategic partnership between the two fraternal states.
