Reforms will have a direct impact on the budget

The plenary session of the Senate considered the Law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2023".

In turn, during the discussions, the Chairwoman of the Senate T. Narbayeva expressed her opinion on the consideration of the issue related to densification of budget items designed for the state apparatus:

"The introduction of reforms to create a compact and efficient state administration in our country will certainly have a direct impact on the budget. The minister will give a separate explanation on this.

According to preliminary estimates, these funds will be spent on social protection issues. Of course, the issue of appropriate changes to the budget will also be considered.

We will come back to this issue again after all state bodies have been completely reorganized and reduced by 30-35 percent," the Chairperson of the Senate said.
