Residents will not be disconnected from the grid during the holidays due to electricity and gas debts

The Uzbek Energy Ministry said that all enterprises operating in the system are taking appropriate measures to provide consumers with energy resources during the holidays.

It is noted that special staffs for extraction and supply of oil and gas and coal, electricity and oil products have been created at the enterprises.

An average of 47-48 million cubic meters of natural gas per day are supplied to ensure the stable operation of thermal power plants and electricity generating centres. Also, 70,000 tonnes of fuel oil and 230,000 tonnes of coal fuel have been created for the plants. An uninterrupted supply of coal products to all coal depots in the regions will be ensured.

It is also planned to supply 155 million cubic metres of natural gas, 2,000 tonnes of liquefied gas, 5,000 tonnes of petrol, 5,000 tonnes of coal and 235 million kWh of electricity to consumers during the holidays.

The Energy Ministry added that consumers will not be disconnected from the grid during the holidays due to electricity and natural gas debts.
