Revival of cultural and humanitarian ties as a way to strengthen friendship and mutual trust

This was the name of the second breakout session of the forum, which was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Sports and Tourism – Aziz Abdukhakimov, UNESCO Deputy Director General for Education Stefania Giannini and Secretary General of the National Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan for UNESCO-Executive Director of the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gayane Umerova, honorary professors of leading international universities, experts and politicians from countries such as Tajikistan, Pakistan, Japan, Korea, Italy, India, Latvia, the USA, etc.

At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Sports and Tourism, Aziz Abdukhakimov, stressed the words of the head of our state: «It is very important to note the words of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, said today at the plenary session, that the expansion of scientific, cultural and humanitarian exchanges is one of the important conditions for strengthening friendship and trust. Therefore, President Shavkt Mirziyoyev has put forward an initiative to organize an International Forum "Historical Heritage of Central and South Asia" in the city of Termez with the support of UNESCO».

Following the results of the conference, it is planned to develop a special draft resolution that will be submitted to the UN General Assembly for consideration.
