Revival of cultural and humanitarian ties as a way to strengthen friendship and mutual trust

The second section of the international conference was attended by the Minister of Sports and Tourism of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov, Deputy Director General of UNESCO for Education Stefania Giannini and Secretary General of the National Commission of Uzbekistan for UNESCO Gayane Umerova.

Aziz Abdukhakimov made a speech, saying that it is easier for countries with similar cultures to build stable, long-term relations.

Stefania Giannini noted that at the end of 2021, Uzbekistan will host an international symposium dedicated to the revival of historical cities along the Silk Road in Central Asia.

Gayane Umerova said that friendly relations and good neighborliness are the main element of the socio-economic growth of any region.
