Robot-capsule that delivers insulin to the body «without injections»

Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the US have invented a special robot that delivers insulin and other drugs to the body without "injections".
The new device, Robocap, looks like a medicine capsule. At one end, there is a reservoir of the required medicine. The other end contains a dwarf mechanism that moves the device, protects it from stomach acid and allows it to pass through the intestinal mucosa. The surface of the device is coated with a gelatinous substance.
It is noted that scientists have tested the Robocap on animals. Since the device delivers insulin and other necessary drugs to animals efficiently and harmlessly, the innovative development is now undergoing clinical trials in humans.
