Russia tests intercontinental ballistic missile

The Russian Defense Ministry reported on the successful test of an intercontinental ballistic missile. This was reported by TASS.
It is noted that the warhead of the intercontinental ballistic missile, launched from the Kapustin Yar test site in the Astrakhan region, hit the target at the Sari Shagan test site in Kazakhstan.
According to a statement circulated by the ministry, the operation was a test of the prospective combat reception of intercontinental ballistic missiles. It allowed to confirm the correctness of the scheme and technical solutions used in the creation of new strategic missile systems.
