Sadyr Japarov receives Prime Minister of Uzbekistan

Today, September 26, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov.

As we reported earlier, the Prime Minister took part in a joint meeting of the governmental delegations of the two countries on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border. At the end of the meeting, a joint declaration of the heads of government delegations of the two countries was signed.

The head of state expressed confidence that the results of the meeting will serve to conclude the legal process for the delimitation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border as soon as possible, based on the interests of the nations of the two countries.

During the conversation, the two sides exchanged views on further expanding and enhancing cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in political, trade-economic, cultural, humanitarian and other areas of interest to both sides.

The sides discussed the forthcoming official visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan and paid special attention to the implementation of joint plans and projects of the visit.
