Safety of construction of Trans-Afghan railway

The security of the construction of the Trans-Afghan railway in the direction of Termiz - Mazari Sharif - Kabul - Peshawar is ensured by Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan on Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev said, "Russia and Kazakhstan have already expressed interest in this project. We hope that China will join the project".

The Uzbek side believes that the implementation of the project will significantly shorten the delivery period of goods to Central Asia, the CIS and Europe.
