It is noted that the Tourist Information Center provides detailed information on rules of stay of foreign citizens in the Republic of Uzbekistan, objects of cultural heritage which are of interest for tourists, tourist destinations, public transport services, car rent, public catering, trade and consumer services. , hotels, medical centres, etc. information is provided.

Last year, 9 tourism information centres were functioning in Samarkand and it is planned to further increase their number to 18 in 2023.
