Samarkand is ready for the SCO summit

As you know, a few more days later – on September 15-16, the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will be held in Samarkand.

The Samarkand summit is significant due to the fact that the leaders of the SCO member countries have been gathering together for the first time in three years and for the first time in history the leaders of 15 countries participate.

There are only a few days left before the prestigious conference, Samarkand is in a state of readiness to hold the summit. Flags of the SCO and its member countries, posters dedicated to the summit are installed on the streets of the city.

It should be noted that large-scale creative work was carried out in Samarkand on the eve of the summit. A new magnificent and modern airport, an international tourism center were built. A total of 10 facilities were built on the territory of the Center – 8 (2 5-star and 6 4-star) hotels, Congress Hall and the caravanserai complex were built.

The complex “Eternal City”, which was completed on the eve of the conference, will also not go unnoticed by visiting guests.

In a word, Samarkand is in every possible way ready to hold the largest political conference in recent years.
