Samarkand to host Asian Championship

The Asian Swimming Championship will be held in Samarkand on September 22-24 this year.

Many of the continent's top athletes will compete for top places in this prestigious competition, which will be held under authority of the Asian Swimming Federation.

At the moment, the organisers are making the last stage of preparations. The appearance of the medals that will be awarded to the winners and medalists of the Asian continent's jubilee championship was demonstrated yesterday.

The symbol of the Asian championship is placed on the front side of the medal. On the back side of the medal is the abbreviation of the name of the world famous Registan Square, the name of the Asian Swimming Federation and the date of the continental championship.
