Sardor Umurzakov: "A young entrepreneur from Khorezm will be assisted in attracting investment of 1.5 billion soums".


Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov acquainted himself with the activities of Data training centre, which trains young people in IT sector, during his visit to Khorezm region, a source told international news portal Bright Uzbekistan.


Shahzod Sobirov, founder of the training centre, presented Sardar Umurzakov the strategy of new projects of the centre.


The young businessman told Bright Uzbekistan correspondent that in 2023, in cooperation with the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development and a team of Ukrainian specialists it is planned to transfer the project of training centre into franchise and gradually increase the number of branches.


He also added that the centre plans to create an interactive video studio, and this requires funds of over 1 billion soums. Shahzod Sobirov asked the head of the Presidential Administration for practical assistance in this matter. Sardor Umurzakov said that this project may be useful in the upbringing of young people in Uzbekistan, stressing the need for assistance in this matter.


For information. To date, more than 2,000 young people have attended the Data Centre's courses, who have been awarded certificates and are oriented towards vacancies available on the labour market.


At the same time, more than 800 unemployed young people have been employed by the centre in video studios, architectural firms and IT organisations in the region and the country. More than 200 of them are also engaged in freelance work.
