Saudi Arabia's revenues from oil and oil products exports in 2022 reached the highest since 2012, according to Bloomberg. The country's annual revenue from oil exports stood at $326 billion.

It is noted that this allowed the government to record a budget surplus for the first time in almost a decade.

In December 2022 Saudi Arabia's income from oil and oil products exports fell for the sixth consecutive month, reaching the lowest level since the beginning of 2022. According to official figures, Riyadh received 85.5 billion rials ($22.8 billion) in revenue from oil and petroleum product exports in December.
