Saudi women can now serve in the border troops

Saudi Arabia's Interior Ministry has announced that it has begun recruiting and registering women as ordinary servicemen in the border troops.

According to the Central Admissions Office of the Ministry, applications for the service will be accepted from 10:00 on March 26 to 10:00 on March 31 through the jobs section of the Absher portal.

P.S: The first female military unit in the Saudi armed forces has been established. In the Kingdom, women were allowed to join the armed forces in October 2019. Saudi women have the opportunity to serve as junior corporals, sergeants and staff sergeants in the ground forces, air force and navy, air defense forces, medical services and missile forces.
