Secretary General of the Turkic Council held meetings with a number of Azerbaijani officials
On the eve of the 10th Meeting of the Ministers in Charge of Economy of the Turkic Council and Turkic Business Forum “Devoted to the restoration and development of the liberated Karabakh region of Azerbaijan” which will be held on September 10, 2021 in Baku, the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreev held meetings with the officials of Azerbaijan.
On September 9, Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreev met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, where they discussed the core issues that are on the current agenda of the Turkic Council within the strategy of the Organization and the preparations for the upcoming Summit of the Turkic Council in Istanbul.
Then a meeting with the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov took place. Minister Jabbarov welcomed Secretary General Amreyev and appreciated the role of the Turkic Council in strengthening the economic relations among the Turkic Council Member States through advancing cooperation in various sectors of economy.
Also, Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreev met with Mr. Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration. During the meeting, Parties discussed the activities of the Turkic Council, latest developments in the Turkic World, as well as preparations of the 8th Summit of the Turkic Council planned to be held in November 2021 in Istanbul.
