Separate bus lanes will be established on 25 streets

The conference was devoted to ongoing and planned work in the field of public transport in the capital. "Based on the demands and needs of the capital's residents, we will actively continue our good work," the President said.
"Today we have visited new metro stations. After the opening of a total of 7 stations on the new line, the number of daily metro passengers will reach 1 million," the President added.
It was noted that these works aimed at reducing traffic in the city and bringing people closer together will continue. Including:
-1,000 more buses will be delivered by April 1;
-Separate bus lanes will be created on 25 streets;
-By the end of the year, a traffic light management system will be implemented at 233 intersections based on passenger flow;
-10,000 parking spaces will be created through private partnerships on 20 high-traffic streets;
-Parking facilities will be organised around 6 metro stations leading into the city in Chilanzor, Yunusabad and Yashnabad districts and will be tendered as a ready-made business.
