Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with the German Chancellor on the Afghan issue

During the conversation, an agreement was reached on preventing the escalation of violence in Afghanistan and continuing regular contacts in this direction.

It was also emphasized that the positions and approaches of the two countries coincide in matters of comprehensive support from the international community for a political settlement of the Afghan conflict.

It was noted that humanitarian operations will continue to evacuate citizens from Afghanistan by air transport in transit through the territory of Uzbekistan to Germany.
