Shavkat Mirziyoyev meets with Ilham Aliyev

The Azerbaijani leader expressed sincere gratitude to the leader of our country for his support and personal participation in the summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, to be held tomorrow, 2 March, in the capital of Azerbaijan.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized Azerbaijan's effective chairmanship in this structure.

The presidents reviewed in detail the progress in implementation of agreements at the highest level.

Last year, trade turnover between the two countries increased by more than 50 percent. An agreement on setting up a joint investment fund was signed in February during the first Forum of Regions held in Tashkent.

The sides also noted the importance of further expansion of cultural and humanitarian exchange.
