Sherdor Madrassah featured on cover of Japanese World History textbook

A photo of the Sherdor Madrasah located in the world-famous Registan complex in Samarkand was placed on the cover of a Japanese textbook "World History" for grades 9-12, Dunyo news agency reported.

Schoolchildren in Japan will use the textbook in the new school year, which begins in April.
